RSAT Program July 1, 2024

On July 1, 2024, DC Recovery had the pleasure of attending one of the District’s Department of Corrections’ Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Program (RSAT) events held at the Corrections Treatment Facility (CTF) located at 1901 E Streets, S.E. In attendance was a pre-graduation group comprised of 10 men, 5 of which were released back into the community after the ceremony ended. Our mission was to share to the group details about DC Recovery’s community-based peer recovery services. We accomplished this goal with the invaluable assistance from our team organizer and Outreach Coordinator, Brian Person, Peer Coach, Mozell Brown, and Peer Specialist, Demetrius Jones.
