Metropolitan Club’s 58th Anniversary Celebration!

The Metropolis Club’s celebration of their 58th Year anniversary was a big hit! Friends, family, and the community made up the attendance with jubilee. And let’s not forget the tasty spaghetti dinner, salad, and dessert served at the event! Music was also provided by a local D.J. as the event was culminated with a dance for the crowd afterwards. A flat screen TV and an air conditioner were raffled as a door prize. The Club raised a great amount of money to help provide needed services to the community.
Rest assured that DC Recovery’s Peer Operated Center will be the central location for many more future Ward 5 community events. Special and appreciative accolades go to Brian Person, DC Recovery’s Community Outreach Coordinator, the DC Recovery Board of Directors, the Metropolis Club, Ms. Jaynada Hudson, and the entire event team for their hard-earned efforts.
