The Variety Show – It’s Dr. Rebecca Dupas!

What an uplifting way to end the summer at Raisin’ da Bottom’s Variety Show held at DC Recovery Community Alliance on Saturday, August 30th. The event featured Dr. Rebecca Dupas, the Author, the Poet, and the Motivator and on Saturday, she lived up to those glorious titles. And, what a creative and original poem Dr. Dupas recited, “Grand Ma” – a perfect expression of her emotions and experiences with her grandmother. The two-time “Poet of Year” award-winner was a perfect fit for a Show that is always filled with gifted comedians, musicians, poets, and more and as always, a big hit. The doors opened at 4:00 pm and showtime was from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Open Mic spots are always available to display your talent.
