Recovery Month 2025 Kickoff Luncheon!

SAMHSA and it’s national and local partners such as Faces & Voices of Recovery and DC Recovery Community Alliance are once again relentless with their objective to stamp out substance use disorders and they have proven that acknowledgement and recognition are key to this major effort. That is why on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Union Station in Washington, D.C., Faces & Voices of Recovery and Mobilize Recovery hosted the Recovery Month Kick-Off Luncheon. With numerous guest speakers such as Anna Jones, a Faces & Voices Board Member and Community Liaison at Community Bridges, Inc. and Congressman Paul Tonko, New York’s 20th Congressional District and Co-Chair of the Congressional Addiction, Treatment, and Recovery Caucus, the event was well-received by the community, federal and local partners, and their sponsors.

The two-hour event spotlighted the continual strides made with the power of recovery and celebrated with the Ramstad/Kennedy Award those individuals who have demonstrated their fierce leadership in support of recovery efforts made nationally and locally.
