2023 Recovery Month Kickoff Luncheon & Walk!

The 2023 Recovery Month Kickoff Luncheon showcased the successful strides made in our DC community by organizations such as SAMSHA, DC Recovery, and the Faces & Voices of Recovery. The event was held at the Columbus Club Room at Union Station with guest speakers from SAMHSA, ONDCP, and other key public officials.

Dr. Rahul Gupta, Director of the National Drug Control Policy awarded an award from President Biden to Patty McCarthy, Chief Executive Director, Faces & Voices of Recovery at the luncheon today.

Faces & Voices of Recovery partnered with SAMSHA for the first-ever Walk for Recovery which immediately followed the luncheon.
