Community United Methodist Church (DC) – 73rd Anniversary & Pop-Up Shop

What a joyous event to attend that was full of fellowship, fun, and partnership. On September 14, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., DC Recovery participated in the celebration of The Community United Methodist Church’s 73rd Anniversary located at 1525 Levis Street, N.E. in Washington, D.C.. Their robust “Pop-Up Shop” of tables included crafts, jewelry, food, clothing, and services.  DC Recovery’s Outreach Team used the opportunity to engage with the Trinidad community and present their peer-led recovery services.
