DESCRIPTION:Talk about a Wow Moment!  \nThe best weather ever – A sunny 75-degree Saturday! \nThe best guests ever – The Community! \nAnd\,  \nThe best cause ever – To partner with an effective organization\, Federal City Recovery Services (FCRS)\, to provide smiles\, laughter\, and local talent to the Ward 5 DC Community. \nSaturday\, October 28\, 2023. The doors opened at 6:00 pm and from that point on\, the theme in the air was “let the games begin” and begin it did. From the wonderful turnout of folks\, the raffle give-away\, the lip-smacking dinner served\, and the Federal City Recovery Choir\, we all had an amazingly rewarding time at DC Recovery’s Peer Operated Center. \nDid you miss it? No worries because back by popular demand\, The Variety Show event will now be held the last Saturday of every month!
